Extinction threatens humanity. If it doesn't think about it now, then it may already be too late. But the search for a solution to this problem is in full swing, and here they are - the generation that should give our biological species and civilization a second wind - life outside of our planet Earth. These specimens are carefully selected and verified representatives of humanity.
Raised in a completely artificial environment, they are devoid of the usual human weaknesses and emotions. They do not need money, love, entertainment and any other "triggers" that are familiar to our society and inhibit it. But in order to achieve such success, scientists had to develop a special drink that suppresses the natural desires and feelings of pleasure in children. And at that fateful moment, when they find out about everything and decide to give up control, their feelings are stretched to the limit, every cell of the brain is heated and disturbs the minds of boys and girls. Now their lives and the entire operation are in jeopardy, because the spaceship is now full of wild, unbridled beasts, destroying everything in their path and not stopping at nothing in their path to pleasure.
As you can see, the plot of the film turned out to be quite interesting. In general, I love science fiction, I have reviewed many different stories in this genre, and therefore I can say that initially the idea itself is completely new here. "Generation Voyager" is practically devoid of all the main clichés of the genre. So I was really impressed by the movie. It is also interesting that this is far from just an entertaining movie with a bunch of special effects, although, of course, they also play a role here.
The film contains two very important messages: nothing can tame human nature and the future of a person depends on the person himself. This is exactly what the film makes you think about it.
The actors here are simply gorgeous, from Colin Farrell to Lily-Rose Depp. It looks like the unification of generations in the film industry, as in the film itself. At first I was skeptical about such a collaboration, but then I even start to like how they interact. By the way, I usually find fault with modern young actors, but here I have not noticed any special jambs at all.
Thus, the film was worthwhile. I think that the joint high-quality work of the creators and actors led to this result. I sincerely advise everyone, because there is a lot to think about after watching. For me it is always very cool when the film is not just for one time, but makes my thoughts come back to it again and again.
