Scanner Cop 4K 1994

This is one of the first horror films I watched as a teenager on videotape. Then I saw the sequel on TV, the sequel was worse and more pretentious. The very idea of the film is good enough - people are zombified and forced to kill their loved ones after receiving a kind of signal. The main character has the ability to influence the mind of people and make them obey, and he can also use his gift as a weapon. He used to consume pills from childhood to block this ability, but now the crime forced him to turn on his power.

The actor had to strain his face very much, each time depicting a 'scan' and in some places these scenes look quite funny. Now this horror movie looks more like a comedy, but 15 years ago it was very scary. I really liked the main villain, who suffers from an overabundance of mind and takes it out on other people. Good almost always triumphs over evil.
