I’m not going to talk about the pros, cons, or any other nonsense here. I just want to say that anyone who doesn’t like this movie is a complete idiot—after all, what did they expect from a movie that came out after the main story of *Fullmetal Alchemist* had already ended?
It makes sense that this movie won’t be a continuation like the first one—based on the first anime adaptation—since the story was already concluded in the series itself (in the second anime adaptation).
Now for my opinion. The movie was really good, and I liked that it still had so much action and drama. You could say that this movie expands the Fullmetal Alchemist story with three episodes that weren’t shown in the series itself and aren’t connected to the main storyline in any way.
A well-made, high-quality movie that tells us about Fullmetal Alchemist’s exploits not during his search for the Philosopher’s Stone, but during his work.
I recommend it to those who love "Fullmetal Alchemist" and all of its adaptations—not just one of them. However, I don’t recommend it to those who are fixated on just one story, as you won’t enjoy it due to your limited taste in the genre.
