The very first film by Dario Argento. I can't say that he impressed me very much, but at the same time, I didn't get bored while watching it. What is good about this film? As always, a purely Argentinian atmosphere, plus an interesting script and good music, plus a pretty good acting. What has to do with this film, Argento uses his favorite method for the first time - playing with the subconscious.
The main character saw something at the time of the murder, but cannot remember what. This method Argento still successfully applied in 'Blood Red'. In addition, as always, in the Italian Giallo, we see the killer with gloves. What I didn't like was the not particularly impressive murders. If we compare the quality of the bloody scenes in this film and in subsequent ones, then the advantage is clearly not in favor of 'Crystal Wings'. However, the film is worthwhile. And I, as an amateur, this Italian director, liked him.
