One of the first films about Viktra Frankenstein, a half-mad scientist who created a monster from fragments of human bodies. He rightfully went down in history as one of the founders of the horror genre and gave the world one of the most famous cinematic monsters.
Of course, the film will not be able to tickle the nerves of the modern viewer - pavilion shooting, symbolic special effects, overly pretentious dialogues - after all, the age of the picture makes itself felt.
However, we should not forget that the arsenal of filmmakers of that time did not yet have the technical means with which modern horror makers frighten us. But for real moviegoers, the first Frankenstein film is a real treasure trove of images and scenes from which the genre itself emerged as it is today.
