Shyamalan is a great charlatan who regularly leads the viewer by the nose. Likewise, in Vremya we observe frequent plot twists and inventive metamorphoses over time, until the revealing finale bursts out with a sledgehammer - perhaps not such an unexpected denouement, as with its cynicism and realism.
The tape has an excellent cast and if you do not find fault with the details, then without plot holes. It should still be borne in mind that we are in some way a fantastic thriller, where irrational events are the norm, no matter how absurd they may seem at first glance.
Life and death in one day - that's what the main characters will have to face. A wild contrast between a heavenly place, a warm beach, azure sea and deadly time, hostile rocks and the gradual despair of the characters. The director seems to emphasize that seemingly harmless nature can hurt and kill worse than weapons.
Moral: If you find that your skin has suddenly wrinkled like an accordion, it is obvious that you just got a little sleep in a hot tub.
