King wrote The Runner under the pseudonym Richard Bachman (sometime in 1982, that is, five years before the film adaptation). To be honest, this is a damn depressing piece. Obviously not a fantastic action movie. A real drama (powerful dystopia) with a rather sad ending.

Therefore, it is not surprising that Stephen King went berserk (drooling, a-hee-hee, like Kujo the dog) when the film adaptation was born. Stephen ran into not only the creators, but also took a good walk on the main star. Yes, King criticized Arnold (he has a right, completely).

It's not even about the director (he's just a mercenary), but lustful producers, of course. We decided to change the concept. Business. Plus, pay your attention specifically to the writer.
