It is enough to look at modern films about the war and you can say that they are dying. In the modern film industry, there are very few notable films about the terrible time from 1939 to 1945. 'Cannons ...' is not like that. This is a film where war is essentially presented as one big adventure, which in turn is fraught with danger and unpredictability. Who is the friend here? Who is the enemy?
Of course, looking at the name of the writer, we won't be surprised that the film is good. And this, by the way, is the first film based on the novels of Alistair McLean. Of course, not all the horrors of war are shown in this picture, however, you will definitely be delighted with what you see.
The movie is definitely good. Both in terms of special effects and in terms of acting. Gregory Peck, David Niven, Anthony Quinn are brilliant actors. The director and the supporting actors are no less brilliant. And of course, we must once again mention Alistair McLean, without whom this wonderful film would not have come true.
