Joe Chappelle, who previously scored a frankly unsuccessful 'Halloween 6', did an excellent job, both visually and technically, filling the film with an interesting play of light and enchanting effects. Also, in addition to a competent production and an interesting plot, the case turned out to be just wonderful, with an original atmosphere, luxurious scenery, talented actors and beautiful, bewitching music. Excellent editing and sound - that is, both from a creative and technical point of view, the picture deserves only praise.
The actors also did not let us down: Bruce Ramsey looks great in three roles at once (an unlucky puppet master from the Middle Ages, a successful engineer from the end of the 20th century and a brilliant designer of the distant future).
Of the minuses, I note that this picture loses a lot to the previous film from the cycle in terms of dynamics, and it also lacks a little 'industrial'. Not bad.
