A worthy sequel to 'For a Fistful of Dollars'. If not to say that the film surpassed its predecessor. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the script from beginning to end was written for the Wild West.
The Eastwood-Van Cleef duo looks very organic. Especially good is the introduction scene of the two heroes, in which the professionalism of Van Cleef's hero and the charm of Eastwood's hero's simplicity meet. As for Gian Maria Valente, the spectator is not at all embarrassed by the repeated appearance of this actor in the role of another character, as negative as Ramon Rojo from A Fistful of Dollars.
All in all, this movie is one of the rare cases where the sequel not only remains at the level of the first series, but in some ways surpasses it.
