It all starts with the gathering for the infamous hen party. The idea to go to her parents' remote house, which has been empty for a long time, came from the scandalous and sometimes overly emotional Beth, who is always trying to get in touch with her sister Tess, a veteran of the Iraq war. Tess tried her best not to turn every simple conversation into another escalation of conflict. The conversations are really interesting, especially for those who are having a rough time at home with their families as well. Personally, I was at least curious to listen to it all. The actresses played well, without falsity, quite natural "dogachili", but without going to shouting, hysteria (for which a special thanks).
The second part of the movie - the hunt for girls by a group of strangers armed with crossbows. Brutality to the max, cold-blooded murders - in excess. Admittedly, the movie even exceeded my expectations. Although the plot is unrealistic, but you don't watch such movies for the plot, do you? And to see how you can get out of a seemingly hopeless situation. I liked the ending too. The movie is not tedious, it is easy to watch. In general, I consider "Fear the Night " to be a quality and thoughtful movie for fans of extreme survival.
