I watched the movie 'Train' directed by John Frankenheimer in one breath. They knew how to shoot in the 60s, no computer special effects, but what an exciting movie. This is a movie about French patriots, who at the cost of their lives saved the national treasure - masterpieces of painting. The movie is very tense and dynamic. The main role of Paul Lyabisha is amazingly played by Burt Lancaster, and all the tricks he performs himself, without understudies. The hero-railroader (Burt Lancaster) makes us watch the movie holding our breath, so heartfelt and natural plays Burt. Another actor - Paul Scofield plays the role of a German colonel, in front of us is a real fascist, obsessed with the idea of taking the paintings to Germany and take away from France their national treasure. Throughout the movie there was only one thought - whether it will be possible to save these priceless masterpieces of painting. People, far from art, sacrificed their lives for the sake of future generations, so that their descendants could admire these priceless works of art. The movie is in black and white, but this does not detract from all the merits of this tape.
