“Invasion of the Body Snatchers” (1956) tells the story of Dr. Myles Bennell (Kevin McCarthy) returning to his hometown and encountering mysterious cases where residents claim their loved ones have become ”different.” Finding himself in the midst of an alien invasion, he discovers that the aliens are creating exact replicas of humans, devoid of emotion and individuality.
