The plot is great. Easy, well digestible and very funny, but at the same time a bit serious. The jokes are great, the characters are written without any flaws.
The actors are just perfect for their roles. Tim Allen and Alan Rickman are just handsome, especially Alan. His role is just very funny, such a role I did not expect from this brilliant actor, well it's in a good way. Sigourney Weaver also played well. Despite my dislike for her, I liked her game and her presence in the film.
The music is great.
The looks of the aliens are gorgeous. No way the late Stan Winston created them. May he rest in peace.
A good old classic with great computer special effects for those times....
