Classic horror movie about vampires, in which many images typical for this theme are collected: medieval castle, old cemetery, crypt, bats, cloaks and ancient outfits of vampires, shots with the play of light and shadow. (Except for the lack of aspen stakes, garlic, holy water!) The musical accompaniment is very much in theme and creates the right atmosphere. It is the general atmosphere that makes the movie memorable, but I can't praise anyone from the cast.
The main characters are modern high school girls, dressed quite frankly. There are scenes of violence and eroticism in the movie. I read that some of these scenes were inserted by the producers, and the director himself did not take part in their filming. This is noticeable, especially in the episode with the secondary heroine, who except for one of the erotic scenes will not appear anywhere else.
I was left with the impression that everyone was too lazy to think out the details of the plot. For example, at the beginning of the movie, the heroines in clown costumes drive a car (driven by their friend), shooting away from people who are chasing them in another car. But we never get a coherent explanation of what's going on. The vampires are told by the girls that they escaped from a school field trip! It is also incomprehensible how the gravediggers, burying the grave, never looked into the hole, how one can maintain perfect makeup without a mirror and a cosmetic bag (both escaped girls have no bags), where the schoolgirls got their guns - the list goes on and on....
The movie is normal for its genre, in terms of visuals and music everything is very good, but it's better not to think about the details of the plot. But it is unlikely to appeal to a person far from horror movies.
