Venom: The Last Dance 4K 2024

Speaking about Venom in 2024 there is only one association - Tom Hardy. This actor so epitomizes Venom that it is simply impossible to imagine the symbiote without him. I would not label the acting as in this movie as phenomenal, one of the best in recent memory, great. No. Tom Hardy in his usual manner once again showed that he is on a decent level for the movie industry. Why is it not worth noting the actor's performance here as terrific? All because Tom is confined within the director's frame.

In this movie, Tom acts as a lost man, he simply has nowhere to go. He has no family, no friends, not even comrades and acquaintances. There is only Symbiote, who unfortunately or fortunately is shown as an obvious Sanguine, and quite active and funny. We should not forget that Venom is first of all a Symbiote, which devours its host from the inside. However, in this movie, it doesn't feel that way. Symbiote acts as a cheerful friend, with whom it is pleasant to spend time and experience various adventures, but not as an alien monster, which by its nature should want to revive its kind at any cost.

The plot in this picture is very mediocre. There is a supervillain dreaming to destroy everyone and everything. And for this he needs a symbiote, but not any symbiote, but a friend of the honorable Tom Hardy. It should be noted that in this movie, besides the classic Venom, there will be shown a lot of different symbiotes, surprisingly friendly to mankind. Remembering the first part of the trilogy, the most dangerous symbiote that defeats Eddie Brock and his new alien friend in the moment comes to mind. Here all symbiotes are kind and friendly, they don't hurt anyone, jumping from host to host. But I want to remind you that the main problem of the symbiote is the choice of host. After all, not everyone is suitable for this role.

As for the action and graphics, it is worth saying that Venom appears, as in previous installments, in all its glory. But he is not given so much time, because any transformation into Venom in this part is unacceptable and leads to the death of the main character.

I can't say that this movie has been negatively put in my memory, but I can't say that I have watched a masterpiece in the last couple of years either. In my humble opinion the cast pulls off this piece of work. If Tom Hardy had not been here, the movie would have failed in an unambiguous way. However, we have what we have Tom did a great job and deserves praise.

This picture I recommend to watch. The two hours will not disappoint you at least in that you will remember the old universe and a beloved character.
