A former police officer named Nick Cassidy is attracting public attention. A guy stands on the ledge of a hotel and intends to commit suicide. Crowds of Americans are waiting for a deadly performance and have already prepared smartphones to capture the last seconds of the main character's life. Reporters and police have arrived at the location of the incident. The cops are sending an experienced negotiator to a potential suicide. But all the negotiator's attempts to persuade Nick are unsuccessful. The guy doesn't want to leave the ledge and prepares to jump. While Nick's only one step away from death, he's remotely leading a robbery that's taking place in a building nearby. The robbers' target is a jewelry store.
