An excellent detective adventure film by Stanley Donen, similar to his other film, Charade, starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.
Exciting chase scenes, intriguing relationships between a spy and a professor, and, of course, the Gordian knot of those eager to unravel the coveted code.
I also enjoyed the non-standard scenes. For example, when Gregory Peck's character is thrown out of a car, he imagines various animals and begins to resemble them. A great moment!
As for Sophia Loren, I think this is the first film of hers that I have seen. I was delighted to discover her!
