And so ended the brilliantly crafted, high-quality, and interesting franchise about the mighty and terrifying monster Frankenstein. What can I say? For fans of black-and-white cinema, horror classics, and simply those who want to watch old movies, I definitely recommend this one. And it should be watched at any age; age ratings are clearly unnecessary here. Films like this will not harm a child's psyche; on the contrary, they will captivate them, make them enjoy every minute spent watching horror classics, and help them understand where all these monsters and beasts in our modern cinema came from.
Viewers may also enjoy the performances of some of the actors. Take Boris Karloff (who brilliantly played both Frankenstein and the mentally ill scientist Gustav Nimapp) or Lon Chaney, who over the years of the franchise managed to brilliantly embody the image of the unfortunate victim of the werewolf and subsequently become one himself. The acting is definitely one of the main strengths of this film.
The tense atmosphere, stunning concept, and magnificent music all add to the film and earn it the eternal title of “horror classic masterpiece.”
