First and foremost, I want to say that I expected more from this film. Roger Moore is an excellent actor, best known for his role in the James Bond 007 film series. As a secret agent, he came across as charismatic and impressive.
In this film, however, due to a hastily written script (presumably) and details that weren’t fully thought through, he failed to turn this—to put it mildly, “nonsense”—into a coherent movie. The plot development is too passive, and the ending is completely unclear.
The result was a sort of hybrid of a sci-fi thriller, featuring the performance of just one actor (namely Moore). To his credit, it was precisely his presence on screen that saved this film, giving it enough strength to keep me from turning it off halfway through.
