Nightwatch 4K 1997

This is definitely the real deal! You won’t see monsters jumping out of nowhere or a hero running around with a howitzer in his hands. It’s not a work of art either—the film lacks complex acting, epic music, and a Nolan-esque screenplay.

An ordinary student shows up for his shift, and what happens next is described exactly as anyone in our shoes would act.

Be sure to watch it at night, when it’s dark. “Nightwatch” marks the beginning of McGregor’s creative journey. That’s why it’s great to see this talented actor in action.

Don’t read too many reviews. Watch the movie with an open mind. Movies like this—without awards or famous actors, movies about which very little is known—are best watched without reading anything beforehand. Let the mystery remain.
