The film based on the real story that took place during the Second World War. The elite American spy Max Vatan arrives in Africa, where he has a dangerous mission to complete. He must kill the German ambassador. To have a better chance of success, Max gets an assistant girl named Marianne. The French beauty has to play the role of American's wife and help him during the liquidation of the Nazi ambassador. Marianne and Max successfully complete the mission. During this work, the American and the French woman get very close. They fall in love with each other, have fun and Marianne gets pregnant. Then there is the wedding, the birth of the child and a happy married life. But, Max gets shocking news. He finds out that his wife is a German spy.
