The final installment of the trilogy. Like the previous film, this one was directed by Michael Simpson from a screenplay by Fritz Gordon. When this film was released on video (and here it was even shown in movie theaters), it drew a barrage of scathing criticism. Personally, I don’t want to delve into other people’s opinions, since I intend to express my own. What we have here is wonderful trash cinema—and with a decent budget, at that. Consequently, we’re treated to dynamic action (sometimes so dynamic that, as a result of the editing, some scenes are cut a bit too aggressively).
It has everything a trash movie fan—or simply a lover of light, unpretentious cinema—could wish for. The traditional arrow murder, a lawnmower haircut, fountains of blood (real fountains), and female nudity performed by voluptuous and attractive actresses. Someone is constantly being killed off, someone is shooting or screaming, and the screen is filled with stunt scenes.
Pamela Springsteen is incredibly sexy and great as the villain. The ending is incredibly over-the-top, although its conclusion suspiciously hinted at a sequel. However, Simpson’s hopes were not fulfilled, and this installment became the last. No matter how much people criticize it for its trashy vibe, there’s no denying that it’s highly entertaining.
