After several decades in the city, the family decides to change their lives. The protagonists of Color Out of Space 2160p sell an apartment in fussy Boston, and buy a spacious mansion in a small town on the outskirts of Massachusetts. One of the main reasons why the family decided to go on this long journey is the disease of their youngest son. Doctors recommended that the child spend a lot of time outdoors to get rid of the disease as soon as possible. At the same time, two older children were not very happy about this change in their lives. The teenagers were afraid to get stuck in rural boredom and did not want to part with their city friends. Anyway, the relocation has already taken place, and now a big family has to adapt to the new living conditions. Their quiet life is interrupted by the fall of a meteorite. This space object infects water and soil with an unknown virus that causes terrible mutations. But even this isn't the worst thing this family has to face. Will they be able to remain the same, after the terrible events they will have to endure?
