In one of the circus shows, Dr. Frederick Treves finds a strange man. His name is John Merrick, and he suffers from a rare disease. The disease provokes a transformation of the body. This ugliness was demonstrated in the circus to the amusement of the audience. A cunning businessman hired John for a small salary, and the entertainment with him brought a great profit to the entrepreneur. So when the doctor offered the businessman to buy John out of him, he replied with a categorical rejection. But, Frederick Treves was persistent and increased his financial offer. So, the deal went through and John Merrick went to the hospital with his new owner. For a long time, the doctor considers that the main character is mentally disabled, and just studies him as an abstract living being. But later, the hospital director notices that Treves pays too much attention to the new patient. Soon the protagonist of The Elephant Man Ultra HD confesses that he was hiding the fact that he is a mentally normal person because it prevented his work. Now he speaks, reads freely, constructs cardboard models of locks, and in general is a quite harmoniously advanced person. Despite his external ugliness, John Merrick becomes a full member of society.
