Hard film, one of the most cruel of its kind in its time. And even now it looks extremely brutal against the background of many mediocre movie novelties of recent years. In addition, the film is extremely schizoid, stuffed with hallucinations, extravagant monologues of a maniac with himself, perverted actions and other oddities, and all this makes the film very powerful and powerful.

There are no positive main characters here at all, the main and key point of the whole film is a maniac, around whom a whirlpool of events, hallucinations, visions, and some kind of memories revolve. He is a real psychopath, a seriously and seriously ill person, obsessed with his particular mania, and brutally dismembering his victims as events unfold. The image of the maniac is embodied simply amazingly, it was played simply brilliantly and even the appearance of the actor himself is so vivid and memorable that after such a film it is unlikely to fall asleep.

The effects here are at their best, a lot of blood, an abundance of dismembered bodies, atrocious and original killings. And all this under the unbearably intense powerful music, from which goosebumps go. The atmosphere of the film is simply amazing, with each new twist it not only scares more and more, but also drives the viewer crazy with its staging, phrases and visual range.

The image of a psychopath is quite similar to the maniac from the “Death Trap” by T. Hooper. He also constantly talks to himself, and not only, but also to many imaginary characters. A schizoid state is carried by a strong spirit through the whole picture, strongly pressing on the psyche of the viewer. A very powerful film, a true masterpiece of its kind.

The final denouement is even more terrible, sudden and frightening. Despite the presence of a share of trash, in the end everything falls into place, leaving the viewer only surprised at such a cool idea and its bloody implementation. The film is wildly scary, a lot of amazing cruelty, breathtaking, and the protagonist’s speeches seem horrible and terrible, frightening him more and more. The absolute classic of the genre, just a masterpiece.
