I had high expectations for this movie, and I can say right away—I wasn’t disappointed! Maybe it was because I’d had a tough, hectic day; I barely even made it to the screening on time. I was practically dying of boredom during the commercials, but as soon as the cartoon started, I came alive!
There were so many positive emotions, energy, fun, and great music that my bad mood just vanished into thin air! I laughed the whole time—and I wasn’t the only one; the entire theater, which was packed to the brim, was laughing too.
I liked the plot—it turned out to be very interesting. The hints at politics and human relationships were spot-on and really added to the film. It’s incredibly fascinating to watch animals discuss these topics; even recent political events were reflected in their dialogue, and their “human-like” interactions are both touching and genuinely funny.
All the animals are one-of-a-kind—especially the penguins—though each one contributed to the humor in their own way. While this installment has more drama, it doesn’t weigh down the viewing experience; instead, it adds a special spark.
My biggest fear before going to the theater was that the second installment would be worse than the first. I’m so glad I was wrong! This is a movie I won’t forget for a very long time, and I’ll watch it hundreds of times.
After watching it, I felt cheerful and lighthearted. This animated film is well worth watching.
