Bright, interesting, memorable, funny jokes from which you want to laugh, and not catch facepalms ... The plot is much better than the modern cartoons of Pixar and Disney, which have turned into an endless chewing gum with the only universal plot "Be good, live together."
The main character of 'Incorrigible Ron' is a lonely, unsociable boy who cannot fit into society - everyone is busy with their gadgets and chasing trends, why should they try to be friends with someone who has no opportunity to keep up with consumerism and fashion? And what about parents who see their child sad, but he stubbornly continues to say that everything is fine? And what about consumers, driven into the consumer world? ...
The cartoon shows both the point of view of the child and the point of view of adults on modern consumerism, on loneliness, on friendship, on teenage problems, everyone can find something interesting for themselves. There are no unambiguously bad and unambiguously good characters in the film, everyone acts on the basis of their goals and priorities, can you really blame them for that? Moreover, maybe we don't know everything about a person, and he hides his pain behind his success? ... Each character in the cartoon was developed and opened from a new side, no one looks flat and 'for the background', which cannot but rejoice.
The deep thought of the film - 'Friendship is a mutual matter' You can't just force other people to love yourself, you can't educate other people for yourself and you can't make your own copy - you need to learn to put up with your own and other people's shortcomings and accept them. And both must work on the relationship. And you don't have to be a charming crowd favorite - both strange and unfriendly people are not bad and deserve friends.
The cartoon does not regret the 'stupid-little-child-spectator' and does not lisp with him, if there is a danger - you believe in this danger, no one sugars it, if the moment is funny - it is really funny, and not 'supposedly obliged to be funny', in sad moments you feel sad for the characters, because their pains and experiences are understandable and logical. Despite the huge amount of (appropriate) humor, the cartoon is serious and relevant, there really is something useful to take out of it, while ideas and metaphors for the modern world are very beautifully and organically presented.
The film is definitely recommended for viewing, the evening will definitely not be spent on a useless boring cartoon with a hackneyed script that will not leave anything in my head, in my case I will definitely watch it more than once.
