Do you believe in dreams? The young unicorn, the last unicorn, believed. She knew that her beautiful kin still lived somewhere. And so she left her safe grove, walked for months, had adventures, met friends and finally, love....
From the first minutes of the movie I was immersed in an unforgettable atmosphere, as if I looked into a distant childhood, when, opening my mouth, froze in front of the TV and watched, watched, watched.... Since then, much has been forgotten, but now I finally revisited this cartoon again.
There are no such passions as in Pearl Harbor or Armageddon, but the last 30 last minutes of the movie I spent in tears. After watching it, it made me think about so many things. There are dreams that make us soar, there are dreams that lead us to ruin. There are also true friendship, loyalty and love - this movie reminded me of that once again.
It's an old cartoon, it can't compete with the same Ratatouille nowadays. But God, it's beautiful! Beautiful in its artlessness, and when you look at the unicorn it just hurts from such beauty - that's how a unicorn should be: wild, free and beautiful....
This is a very deep, really wise cartoon. The music, the story that takes your breath away, the wonderful ending that made me shed a lot of tears - everything is just great! Watch it for sure!
