This year, another my favorite cartoon, "Shrek", is celebrating its anniversary. It's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since its release! I really like to revise from time to time all parts of "Shrek", but I especially like the first part.
This is an unusual cartoon. He is not like the rest from start to finish, starting with the scene of Shrek coming out of the toilet and ending with a party in the swamp. Here everything goes "not according to the canon", outside the box. There are no beautiful princes or princesses here. The main character is a terrible and evil ogre-unsociable, and his companion is a chatty and stupid donkey.
This cartoon teaches us to accept ourselves as we are, with all the flaws. He shows that appearances can be deceiving, because often people with good looks have an ugly soul, and vice versa. He teaches the ability to forgive. He teaches to be friends. It shows that all people are different, someone is a chatterbox, someone is a gloomy loner, someone is hiding from everyone in the "tower", waiting for a handsome prince on a white horse. Everyone can be wrong, everyone deserves the right to a second chance.
I recommend the film to every child and adult. There is something to think about and something to learn here.
