The future, our world has changed drastically. It's divided into several territorial subgroups. The main character of the film is a female scientist, who gathered a group of the best representatives of science & technology to go to the most dangerous and mysterious territories. Women's expedition is most interested in the abnormal area around the fallen meteorite. The main heroine does this not only in order to become famous and get materials for her research. A few years ago her husband was lost in these territories and the woman wants to try to find her missing relative. The spouse was part of the eleventh and penultimate expedition, which did not return, as well as their many predecessors... The fantastic thriller Annihilation 4k hdr was shot by Alex Garland. He is not only the director of this film, but also the scriptwriter. Garland beautifully adapted the novel of Jeff VanderMeer. Surrealistic immersion in the unknown is performed by Natalie Portman, Gina Rodriguez and other popular actors.
