I've been a big fan of the Final Fantasy series since the PS1 days. Played almost all parts, and 7 and 8 are my favorites! On this film, I stumbled upon accidentally, did not even imagine that the 'Final' was filmed. After watching this film, I was completely delighted with what is happening on the screen!
The plot is very complex and incomprehensible at first glance, to understand all its subtleties you need to think, play 'Final Fantasy', and ... think again. An exciting and almost fairy tale story plunges us into the dark, dystopian, but in its own way charming world of the protagonist Cloud, where he has to save his loved ones and his home.
The visual part is of course the most striking. To be honest, this is one of the most beautiful films I've ever watched! Fascinating picture, stunning special effects, oh, the staging of battles just blows your head off! Seriously, this movie is worth watching because of the beautiful setting of the battles! Plus a great soundtrack.
The characters are bright, distinctive, of course, they are all made in Japanese style, so some of them will seem strange to viewers who have not watched anime or played JRPG before.
So what we have: a graphically impeccable film with colorful characters and great music that will appeal to all viewers who love a beautiful story and grandiose fights, and for fans of the FF series, this film is undoubtedly a must-see. "Advent Children" remain in memory for a long time and evoke a huge amount of positive emotions due to their beauty and originality.
