Alive Inside: A Story of Music and Memory 2014

The movie explores the impact of music on people's minds and its ability to evoke memories. The director observes Dan Cohen, an ordinary employee of a nursing home. One day Dan decides to conduct an experiment and brings an iPod with music from different eras to the hospital. To everyone's surprise, many patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders began to remember forgotten events of their lives while listening to music from the past. Later, neuroscientists began to investigate Dan's discovery.
