The second film in the Star Trek universe offers us all the same cast of actors (by and large) as in the first full-length movie. The difference is that now recruits are taking over the Enterprise (the Saavik Vulcan is especially prominent), James Kirk is now an admiral, and Chekhov was transferred to another ship to perform an important mission.
Mission "Genesis" is the ingredient that made a mess in this case, but the central element is still Khan, a prisoner of a deserted planet, whom fate unexpectedly gave a chance to settle scores with Admiral Kirk.
Khan, brilliantly played by Ricardo Montalban, is a very memorable character. His confrontation with Kirk is an intrigue that makes the film look a breeze. This is probably the best movie in the universe, most trekkers think so too.
Dramaticism, dynamics, dashingly twisted plot are the components of this masterpiece. I'm just in awe of the second full-length Star Trek! The writers and the director did a great job this time, the actors, as always, however, perfectly revealed the characters of the characters and gave the picture a certain tragedy.
In my opinion, this picture is worthy of the attention of any self-respecting fan of the sci-fi genre, is one of its best representatives. To find fault with almost nothing.
