After the magnificent second part of 'Mad Max', one could expect a spectacle from the triquel at the level of the previous series, but it is unlikely that the authors could surpass it - at least visually. They could only endow the third series with a large number of semantic elements, but looking at the rating 'Under the Dome of Thunder', one could understand that one should not count on a masterpiece. This part is more interesting than the first one, which was a breakthrough of the pen, but it does not have the chicness that we saw in 'Warrior of the Road'. Again a post-apocalyptic theme, again an action game, only this time not car massacres on desert landscapes, but hand-to-hand combat in the scenery, and much less spectacular than in the sequel, which can be called a fantastic attraction. The third part is interesting in itself, with a good plot, but there is no such epicity in it, which the second and fourth parts shine with - the latter has completely lost its meaning, but as an attraction in the spirit of the second film it will do quite well.
After the apocalypse caused by a nuclear war, the world turned into a desert, but among the sand the protagonist finds a civilization city, however, this city smells bad: instead of fuel, they use pig feces. This city was built by the domineering woman Entity, who hires Max to work. Max wants to return the property stolen from him, and for this he will have to challenge the thief to a duel and fight without rules in a place called the 'Dome of Thunder'. In a gorgeous battle in which the participants fought, literally flying, being tied to the ropes, Max manages to defeat the enemy, but he breaks the only rule that I brought out in the title of the review: he does not want to finish off the defeated one, and now Max himself is condemned to exile. Max falls into a sect dominated by teenagers, and these children mistake him for the commander of the crew of the plane on which they once got into a plane crash. They ask him to take them to their hometown. Then some of the sectarians find themselves in the very city from which Max was expelled, free the dwarf and leave on a train, which the pursuit rushes after.
It seems that there are a lot of significant events, but I wanted more coolness, thanks to which the old Max trilogy is considered cult, which is why there are many claims to the new hits Resident Evil 3 and Judgment Day in 2008, they say, this is a rip-off from Mad Max '. But, if you look closely at all these films, then the latter looks like a purely entertainment movie, which undoubtedly has a right to exist, and the 'resident' is much more saturated with meaning, and an abundance of locations, and action. 'Mad Max 3. Under the Dome of Thunder' is a good movie, but not the level of 'Warrior of the Road'. You can see it once.
