Crocodiles, sharks, and octopuses don't seem to be all the aquatic heroes that have had time to be touched. Therefore, Hollywood creators have remembered, about another predators from the water and gave the world such a film as "Piranha.

In general, and in many ways the film was very interesting, cruel and bloody. At the time of its release (1978), the film can boast not bad shooting, special effects, and the same plot, but then it was a furore. The actors coped with their roles perfectly, and they should, because they were acting all the way back then. It is true, the boringness of what is going on slips through from time to time, but it cannot spoil interest in watching it. The movie keeps you in suspense, but not that much, but you can get tense a couple of times.

All in all we have a good, high quality water slasher from the late seventies. The film is worth the time, because they don't make such films nowadays.
