As a life-long Samuel L. Jackson sits in his car with Chris Tucker lying in the trunk, silence envelops this movie. It only takes a few seconds for Sam Jackson to turn on his record player and the music starts playing. And I'm just going to fall in love with this movie, the world's sexiest, The Brothers Johnson, they're singing the world's sexiest song, Strawberry Letter 23. I'm just going to fall in love with this one and only Quentin Tarantino movie about love, about the amazing love that only a select few will know.
Many people here write that the movie is about some kind of money machinations, about deception, about selling weapons. And all of them will probably be right, but I will say that this movie is about love, just the director is not allowed to make such movies and he will close a little bit from everyone. And in the end, shut down so much that even I didn't know about this movie, even though I thought I knew all of Quentin's movies. When I saw this movie, I just had a lot of respect for Quentin, there are so many other movies in this movie. Also, I haven't seen such amazing opening credits in a long time, yes, this was all already in the classics, and Quentin always respected the classics.
The movie has possibly the best soundtrack ever. The music just permeates this movie. Also, I will never forget the moment with Robert De Niro and Bridget Fonda, a perfect scene, sometimes for love, you just need a couple of movements. In general, the movie has a lot of such bright moments that you just can't remember them all, this movie is a must-see. But, I will not recommend it to all those who love other Quentin's movies, because the movie “Jackie Brown” is completely different, Quentin became a little weak when he made this movie, for this, I love him very much.
There are a lot of famous actors in the movie, but especially, I would like to pay attention to the actress Pam Grier, I think only she could play this role, this movie was just waiting for her. Thanks again to Quentin for not forgetting the old genius actors. This movie, I took in my collection, I took the two-disc edition with bonuses. Be sure to watch this movie and listen to the soundtrack separately. Take away from this movie all the squabbles of the main characters and at the very end, when you see the eyes of Pam Grier and Robert Forster, you will realize that it was a real “Tarantino love”. And as old Sid Haig used to say - That's what we live for!
