Tommy Boy 4K 1995

“Tommy Boy” is a truly great comedy. It contains and interesting plot, and colorful characters and, of course, a lot of very funny jokes. However, this movie did not get the attention it deserved in its time. Even as a child I watched it several times, and perhaps for this reason it has remained in my memory for a long time. Well, many people don't even have a clue about it. So what is this movie about?

It's a fascinating story about a complete kid named Tommy, even from childhood he could be called a loser. But he did not despair and lived about nothing without thinking and having fun. But time goes by, he finishes “very successfully” college, madly happy with his D+ in the certificate, and Tommy gets into adulthood, where he is waiting for his father - the owner of the factory for the production of brake pads, and besides stepmother and stepbrother: “I'll have a brother?! I've dreamed of having a brother all my life!!!” But everything collapses like a house of cards when his father dies and the “new family” turns out to be swindlers. To make matters worse, the bank asks him to pay back the loan his father took out on a very tight deadline. What could be worse? But he again does not despair and together with his old friend, who understands perfectly well that Tommy is a cretin, set off on an exciting journey, the purpose of which is to sell 500 thousand brake pads. One problem - Tommy is a loser who doesn't know a bit about the trade.

Here the adventure begins, and believe me - you will not be bored. The actors play so great that you are deeply immersed in this movie.

Unlike many modern comedies, “Tommy Boy” is the best choice for family viewing, it contains neither excessive vulgarity nor crude jokes. Sharp plot twists undoubtedly only decorate the movie, and its recklessness of the main characters can bypass many other comedy characters, such as the heroes of “Road Trip”.

For all movie buffs I declare: “You just have to watch this movie, because it is one of the best comedies in the history of cinema!”
