So, what can be said about this movie, of course, speaking about it, you can't omit the movie 'Phantoms', which actually repeats the 'shutter', stepping on the heels and repeating everything up to the turn of the actors' heads, although it is only at first glance so. Often watching such movies 'going hand in hand' with their oriental predecessors, I come to the conclusion that of course the original is better, I was disappointed in my theory only once, but that's another story.
For a long time I came to the conclusion that all such horror movies are about people offended by life and those who have a phobia about long black hair, and these are apparently all Eastern peoples and Thai people are no exception. What kind of violent people live in these territories? First they offend someone, humiliate them to the fullest, then the 'humiliated and offended' grows hair and hides his face in it, well, and of course, the hostile spirit, which now will definitely not find peace, goes to take revenge on the offenders, who at the sight of these very attributes, i.e. hair and right from under them stretching hands, shake with fear. It would be possible to add to the heroes and common sense and preferably a bit of kindness. One such young lady drowned in a well (The Call), another bricked up in the wall (Telephone Number), another all calls from the other world (One missed call 1.2.3), another evil stepmother did not save, well and here, unhappy love.
This movie is still more interesting and enjoyable than its American counterpart, even in some respects more logical, and the idea of a girl who can not part with her beloved even after death and staying so close to him that it was impossible to assume such a thing. It was always nice to realize how predictable movies like this are, even sitting there knowing that something is about to happen, but still scary.
The movie is certainly for the amateur, but I would still recommend watching 'Phantoms'. They are not much different, but as it seemed to me the picture is nicer in the American version, and the essence is the same.
