The stunning success of the film Crocodile Dundee was immediately followed by a sequel. But the fact that the sequel was released two years after the first film does not mean that it is any worse, and this film completely refutes the claim that sequels are often worse than the original. Crocodile Dundee II is just as entertaining a story about Mick Dundee.
The events take place some time after the first film. Mick has settled well in New York and has a girlfriend, Sue. But Sue is kidnapped by the Colombian mafia, and after considerable effort, he rescues her from captivity. However, he cannot protect her in the big city, so they leave for Australia.
In my opinion, the film is just as good as the first part. New characters have been added, including Leroy Brown. Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski also shine in the film. They played the roles of a couple in love forced to fight the mafia very well.
Sue — Mick, be careful, this isn't a game. Mick — It's a game to me.
Essentially, it turned out to be a good adventure comedy. Despite the year it was released, it still looks easy and relaxed. There is no rudeness or violence in the film, which is very good. In general, it turned out to be a good, kind film for all times.
