I would like to point out that this film has little in common with Back to the Future, The Butterfly Effect, and other similar films.
In “classic” films on similar themes, the hero travels back in time and thereby changes the present. Through his actions, he effectively creates several branches of history with different sequences of events. This effect is, to some extent, intuitively understandable to the viewer.
In this film, however, the hero's return to the past has no effect on the present. Each leap in time changes the protagonist's subjective interpretation of the events that have taken place. Objective reality does not change as a result. There is only one branch of history, and it combines all the causes and consequences of time travel. Whatever decisions the protagonist makes in the past, he sees that they only contribute to the outcome he already knows. Everything happens as it was meant to happen. There is a persistent feeling that everything is predetermined, that the future, past, and present already exist somewhere and are connected by strong invisible threads of cause and effect.
The film is excellent. I've never seen anything like it before. It gives you something to think about. I recommend it.
