The film Crocodile Dundee can safely be called a classic. It has been many years since this film was released, but it is still just as wonderful. I first saw this film a long time ago, and for several years now I have been rewatching it with enviable consistency.
The film has a certain charm that makes it enjoyable to watch again and again. The adventures of Crocodile Dundee and journalist Sue Charlton in beautiful Australia are very cute, and then it's very funny to see Sue and Dundee in New York. Dundee has never been to the city and finds himself in comical situations that make the viewer laugh out loud.
Paul Hogan undoubtedly did a brilliant job with his role; while watching, you never doubt the authenticity of Dundee. Dundee is a brave, kind, and open-hearted person who easily makes acquaintances and friends, all because he has not been corrupted by the city. It is also impossible not to mention Linda Kozlowski, who plays a journalist who has come to report on the famous Dundee, nicknamed ‘Crocodile’. She also did an excellent job with her role, showing how she is slowly beginning to like Mick, but she already has someone she loves back in New York. In general, everyone in the film, even the minor characters, did a great job with their roles.
Music plays an important role in the film. The music is very beautiful, especially when we are shown the nature of Australia. With such beautiful accompaniment, it is impossible not to fall in love with the nature of this beautiful country.
This is a pretty good comedy with a beautiful ending and a love story. Nowadays, most films are just commercial trash; films that touch the soul simply don't exist anymore. For several decades now, the film has not lost its charm. I think that many years from now, it will still be as enjoyable to watch as it is today, just as it was ten or fifteen years ago. When watching this film, a slight smile never leaves your face for a minute; such a kind and colorful film is capable of awakening good feelings. And when the end of the film comes, you sit in slight bewilderment and realize that there will be no more films like this, and that makes you a little sad...
