One day she finds out that before disappearing, her dad was inventing a time machine. Taking her brother and friend from school, Meg goes to the laboratory where her missing father worked. That's where the teenagers find the time machine. Meg realizes that her dad is probably alive, but he just moved to some other place and different time. To find the missing scientist, the young adventurers go on an exciting and dangerous journey.
