Honestly, I don't really like action movies, but the Crying Killer stands apart, why do you ask? The thing is that this film is not a full-fledged action movie - it is a mixture of detective drama with a focus on oriental foundations and action movie.
What is his charm? The fact is that you can't tear yourself away from the beauty of this film and its eastern peace, the actions are smooth and restrained, there is no bustle like in other action films, but this excuse gives a noble cut.
It was a good move to invite Cheki Cario to this film, his role dilutes the film well, because he always managed to play the bad guys well, and this case is no exception.
The plot as a whole is good, it is good because there is a place for love in this film, moreover, love conquers everything, primarily the fear of imminent death for not fulfilling the assignment. Love helps the protagonist get out of the captivity of hypnosis and see the path to a normal life. After all, as one wise man said: "Where there is a place of love, there is no place for fear and doubt."
Are you still in doubt watching this movie or not? Then it's worth adding that the landscapes are selected by the operator at the highest level, the picture of the film captivates and immerses the viewer in the harsh world of the yakuza.
Bottom line: a good movie for home viewing, when there is a desire to distract from the gray life and just relax immersed in a good movie. Enjoy your viewing.
