Back to the Future 2 is the best sequel in movie history! The best episode of a trilogy, and probably the most iconic film of my childhood. Robert Zimeckis and Bob Gale did an excellent job of capturing the open end of the first film in the most spectacular way with their two (filmed simultaneously) sequels. Back to the Future 2 does the impossible, re-spitting the iconic and just perfect original.
All my favorite movie moments take place at the very beginning of the movie. The future shown in Back to the Future 2 is probably the most beautiful and wonderful of all the films shown. The future reminds me of the improved and enlightened 80's with flying machines and a technical revolution at its maximum. It is shown not as depressive as in Blade Runner or Clockwork Orange, but positive and cheerful.
These 20 minutes of Marty McFly's adventure in the future (not counting the scenes at Jennifer's house) is just one mind blowing movie moment. Seriously, everything looks so great that I would give anything to be in such a future, walk on this Hill Veli, go to the Cafe 80's, have a glass of P-Perfect and fly around the city in a car time.
The general mood of the "bad" 1985 is captured very well, the city resembles one of the largest and most criminal areas in the United States. The ending is no less interesting, the connection with the first series, it becomes possible to look, so to speak, into the cut scenes of the first film and look at the story from a different angle. The final scene is also unique, Thomas F. Wilson plays great. Buff is probably the best school bull ever shown in movies.
"Back to the Future" trilogy (and especially the first 2 episodes) is like one big and most important film of my childhood. I remember I watched the first and second parts for the first time probably somewhere in 1991, when I was still in kindergarten. These 2 films shocked me so much that even today, many years later, I can watch them endlessly, and they do not bother me. One thing is clear, unfortunately, nothing like this will be filmed by anyone. all new adventure-fantasy blockbusters look nothing compared to the trilogy "Back to the Future".
