The film is a direct continuation of the first series. The T-virus continues to spread throughout the city, turning people into the living & hungry dead ...
The Umbrella Corporation uses Mat in the Nemesis program - subjugating him to a virus that has already been infected by another terrible monster.
Alice, who survived and did not become infected, manages to subdue the virus at the cellular level in the same program: thereby not mutating into a terrible creature, but simply perfect in her powers and abilities ...
Dr. Ashward (the developer of the virus) makes it possible for Alice to escape with his surviving partners, finding his daughter in a swarming city. After all, the worst thing in everything, the government decides to put a nuclear bomb on Raccoon City, covering it with an explosion at a nuclear power plant and thereby destroy the spread of the virus ... as well as its witnesses.
The whole film is an incredible adrenaline! Chases, incredible shootouts, abrupt reprisals of perfect Alice over zombies ... most importantly, a damn devilish atmosphere during all the chaining to the screen (the reigning gloomy soundtrack will help with this).
You know, in fact, all the good things I mentioned above, I want to note that for me this is the weakest part. This is how to change the legendary creator of the first film Anderson - replacing the director's chair with Alexander Witt, who had not even made a movie before ?! In vain, because the atmosphere coming from the previous series (thereby connecting them more, which should be more powerful) - is not felt in any way! The script is really cool, there are many memorable moments with steep moves, BUT it was filmed a little really leaky and pathetic with bad dialogues. But if we consider, of course, as a whole, the film is quite successful and quite watchable, and for an ordinary viewer I think one time will be quite enough.
