The cartoon has a win-win basis. First of all, because it's a cartoon - a lot of people love them. Secondly, it's a pop song that a lot of people listen to. Well, and in the third - funny animated animals, singing this same pop. The picture does not even care about the plot, because it plays very well on the most important thing - people's emotions.
Nevertheless, the plot is there. The film does a pretty good job of ironizing the topic of modern show business. Although it has always been that way. Yes, from the outside it is bright and beautiful, and most importantly, there is a lot of money, but the way there is not open to everyone, and if you are lucky, then be prepared for some very unpleasant situations. It's very good that the picture touched on this, but, unfortunately, it's not Pixar or even Disney, it's Illumination, the basis of which is built on primitive, but win-win humor, with which they often overdo it. The studio's only really great cartoon is "The Lorax." "Zveropoy 2," on the other hand, despite its interesting theme, doesn't betray tradition by its main emphasis on entertainment. Yes, it's funny. Yes, it's cute. Yes, the soundtrack. But it's all disposable, so what you see won't stay in your memory, just like the first part.
I wanted to categorize the picture as "neutral," but thanks to Miss Crawley's iguana, I had a little more fun. The old reptile pulled the movie off without singing a single song, well almost none...
