The Shining 4K 1980 US DC

Horror The Shining 4K UHD was created by American director Stanley Kubrick in 1980 on the basis of the legendary Stephen King novel. Loser writer Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) gets a job as a winter watchman at a huge hotel, which is located in a quiet rocky area. Jack plans to stay in the hotel for several months with his wife and child, trying to write a story for a new book. There are terrible legends about this place, and one of the former guards even became crazy and killed his own family a few years ago. The main character does not attach importance to it and considers all the mystical stories about this place only a fiction. Jack's child Danny Torrance has telepathic abilities and can see fragments of the future, warns his father about the ominous room in which there are ghosts, but the pompous man thinks that this is just childish fiction. Psychological thriller The Shining 4K UHD poses more difficult questions than modern moralistic horror stories and family thrillers, to which there may be several correct answers.
