'Pirates of the Caribbean' has long been special both in general and in its episodes. It is already difficult to imagine world cinema without this cinema, it is difficult to imagine what could replace the huge emptiness without them. But they are. It would seem that quite recently we watched the first, second parts - and already the fourth ... This franchise has become loved, and we will not get tired of waiting for new parts and watching again and again, because this is a repetition of those same emotions, the continuation of history and love, adventure, something so often lacking in real life.
The first thing that caught my eye was the absence of Elizabeth Swan. Will Turner, of course, too, but Liz has always been more noticeable and diluted the male company of pirates with her charm and charm. Flirting with Jack, she created a serious intrigue, because it was not so difficult to imagine them together. And should it have happened in the fourth part?! But you have to come to terms with the fact that this role has already been played, and what is the reason - one has only to guess. It is worth noting that for those who did not know this, in the cinema, the absence of Keira Knightley on the screen was a real revelation. The heroine Angelica, the old element of Captain Sparrow, brings with her something new - now nothing prevents Jack from openly flirting and hinting at desires, but every time it seems that he has lost his head and goes into the hands of death himself, it turns out to be completely not this way. Angelica is too temperamental, hot and damn cunning, the closer it gets to the source of eternal youth, the more difficult it is to figure out her true intentions. In general, without Liz and Will, 'Pirates' has become different, not better, not worse, just different.
The second thing that can immediately be noted is the new villain, Blackbeard. This is by no means an attempt to replace Will, as in the case of Angelica and Liz, this is ... an early Barbossa, a former inveterate villain, Jack's main opponent and the one with whom he will compete in the fight for the source of eternal youth.
Traveling around the islands (by the way, they are unusually beautiful and give the film brightness and cheerfulness, and also bribe to look at them live, leaving everything behind), the relationship of Angelica, Jack and Barbossa, battles, old frigates, enemies, all this revives the sweet and intoxicating spirit fun and adventure to the music of Hans Zimmer's 'He's a Pirate', which so often turns in the head during extreme situations in life. The denouement of the film is delightful, not because it cannot be predicted if such a goal is set, but because this is another holiday that pulls emotions out of the viewer, because it is so rare to see such films.
In general, it's a bit of a pity that I've already seen the movie, but I was looking forward to it, it was great, primarily because of its atmosphere, and met all my expectations. The new part will definitely be filmed, and there is still so much time before it ...
