I was going to be more critical of this than any other Batman animation because it's my favourite storyline from the comics, but I'm happy to say that I think they did a good job of condensing it into an hour and a bit.

The animation is 10/10, and the voice cast are all excellent. The ending evoked the same sense of dread I felt as a seven year old reading the comic, turning page after page of Batman getting absolutely owned!

There are some parts that they missed out from the comics that I was a bit gutted about, like Bane vs Croc, Bane figuring out that Bruce is Batman just by sight, and Joker and Scarecrow running Batman ragged before Bane.

But these are just minor details; overall, they got most of it right, and I can't wait for the next two parts!
